Affiliate Terms

1. Who We Are

Storified is a UK-based digital platform offering business and professional listings, public profile pages, visibility features, verification-related profile services, and related digital products and services.

2. Eligibility

To join the affiliate programme, you must:

• provide accurate registration and payment information
• be legally able to enter into a binding agreement
• use the programme lawfully and in good faith
• not impersonate any person, business, or brand
• not promote Storified using misleading, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful methods

Storified may request identity, payment, tax, or verification information before approving an application or releasing commissions.

3. Affiliate Links & Referral Tracking

Approved affiliates receive a unique referral link, code, or other tracking method. A referral will only qualify where Storified can reliably attribute the customer registration to the affiliate using its tracking records and internal review.

Storified is not responsible for failed tracking caused by ad blockers, deleted cookies, browser settings, incorrect links, technical errors outside its control, or the customer using a different path to register.

4. Qualifying Registrations & Renewals

A referral will only qualify for commission where all of the following apply:

• the registration or renewal is made by or for a genuine customer account
• the payment is fully completed and received
• the payment relates to the base profile fee only
• the transaction is not cancelled, refunded, reversed, disputed, duplicated, or fraudulent
• the customer remains compliant with Storified’s terms during the relevant review period
• Storified is able to verify the referral source and the referred account to its satisfaction

Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fake leads, recycled customers, spam signups, or registrations created mainly to trigger commission do not qualify.

5. Commission Structure

5% commission on the base profile fee — for both new paid registrations and successful renewals.

Affiliates earn 5% commission on the base profile fee only for each valid paid customer they refer to Storified. This applies to both business accounts and professional accounts. The same affiliate also earns 5% again on each successful renewal payment for that same referred account, for as long as the customer remains active, the subscription renews, the payment is successfully completed, and the referral remains valid in Storified’s records.

No commission is paid on add-ons, upgrades, extras, custom work, promotional packages, one-off services, or any amount outside the base profile fee unless Storified confirms otherwise in writing.

If an affiliate refers 10 qualifying customers, the affiliate earns 10 separate 5% commissions on those 10 base profile fees. If those same 10 customers renew and pay again the following year, the affiliate earns 10 further 5% commissions on those renewal fees.

6. Category Pricing & Commission Growth

Storified uses category-based pricing. The base profile price for a category rises 10% after every 10 new paid clients in that category (each new tier). Because affiliate commission is 5% of the base profile fee, the actual commission amount increases as the category advances through later tiers.

Business categories start at £365/year for Tier 01 (clients 1–10). Professional categories start at £50 for Tier 01 (professionals 1–10).

Examples for business category tiers:

• Tier 01 (clients 1–10): £365 base = £18.25 commission
• Tier 02 (clients 11–20): £401.50 base = £20.08 commission
• Tier 03 (clients 21–30): £441.65 base = £22.08 commission

Example for a professional category starting tier:

• Tier 01 (professionals 1–10): £50 base = £2.50 commission

Different categories may therefore produce different commission amounts depending on the current tier and current published base profile price at the time of payment or renewal.

7. Charity Allocation

Storified allocates 10% of each qualifying paid base profile transaction to charity. This applies to initial paid registrations and to qualifying renewals where the referred customer renews and pays again.

The charity allocation is separate from affiliate commission. The fact that part of the payment is allocated to charity does not remove or reduce the affiliate’s 5% commission on the base profile fee, provided the transaction qualifies under these Affiliate Terms.

8. Payout Timing

Commission is not payable immediately on signup or renewal. Storified may delay payment until the relevant refund period, chargeback risk period, verification checks, and payment clearance checks have passed. Storified may apply a minimum payout threshold and require complete payout information before releasing funds.

9. Refunds, Chargebacks & Reversals

No commission is payable on refunded, reversed, cancelled, disputed, unpaid, or fraudulent transactions. If commission has already been credited for a transaction that is later refunded, charged back, reversed, or found to be invalid, Storified may cancel, deduct, offset, withhold, or recover that amount from future payouts.

10. Acceptable Promotion Rules

Affiliates must promote Storified honestly and responsibly. You must not:

• make false, exaggerated, unverified, or misleading claims
• state or imply guaranteed search rankings, guaranteed discoverability, guaranteed approvals, or guaranteed business results
• pretend to be Storified or act as an authorised employee unless expressly approved in writing
• bid on restricted brand terms in paid advertising if Storified prohibits that activity
• send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or intrusive direct marketing
• use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden redirects, fake reviews, fake endorsements, or manipulated traffic
• use unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or infringing content in promotion

11. Advertising Disclosure

Affiliates are responsible for making any legally required advertising and affiliate disclosures in their website content, social media posts, videos, emails, and other promotional communications. Where applicable, affiliate content must be clearly identifiable as advertising or affiliate promotion.

12. Brand Use

Storified may allow limited use of approved brand names, logos, and marketing materials solely for authorised affiliate promotion. All intellectual property rights remain owned by Storified or its licensors. Storified may require an affiliate to stop using specific wording, creatives, logos, pages, or campaigns at any time.

13. Customer Relationship

Customers who register through an affiliate become customers of Storified, not of the affiliate. Storified controls pricing, acceptance, account decisions, refunds, service delivery, category eligibility, listing publication, and ongoing customer management.

14. Data Protection & Privacy

Storified may process affiliate personal data for account administration, referral tracking, commission management, fraud prevention, payment handling, legal compliance, and programme management. This is explained further in the Privacy Policy. If an affiliate receives or shares personal data in connection with the programme, the affiliate must handle that data lawfully and only for permitted purposes.

15. Suspension & Termination

Storified may suspend or terminate an affiliate account immediately where there is suspected fraud, misuse, brand risk, policy breach, unlawful conduct, abusive promotion, payment issues, or reputational harm. Upon termination, Storified may cancel unpaid commissions connected to invalid activity or unresolved investigations.

16. Limitation of Liability

Storified does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the affiliate programme, the tracking system, the website, or the availability of any commission model. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storified is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from participation in the programme.

17. Changes to the Programme

Storified may update these Affiliate Terms, the commission model, eligibility rules, payout timing, promotional restrictions, or any part of the programme at any time. Updated terms apply from the date they are published or otherwise communicated for future participation and future referrals.

18. Governing Law

These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless Storified states otherwise in writing or mandatory law requires a different approach.
