1. About Storified
Storified is a UK-based digital platform that provides business and professional profiles, category listings, visibility tools, media display, profile presentation features, review display integrations, embedded media, and related digital support services.
Contact email: info@storified.io
2. Eligibility
You may only register or subscribe if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and have authority to act for the business, professional profile, organisation, or brand being submitted.
Storified may refuse, suspend, or remove any application, profile, listing, account, or submission at its discretion where it considers that the application is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, harmful to the platform, or inconsistent with Storified’s standards or business model.
3. Services
Storified offers digital profile and listing services for businesses and professionals. Services may include profile setup, category listing, publication, content formatting, visual presentation, embedded media, review display integrations, directory placement, renewal handling, and related platform support.
Storified does not promise guaranteed rankings, guaranteed search engine placement, guaranteed traffic, or guaranteed commercial outcomes. Any references to visibility, discoverability, platform authority, profile exposure, or brand reputation are descriptive of the service model and not a guarantee of results.
4. Pricing & Category Tiers
Storified uses category-based pricing. Each category is capped at 100 tiers (1,000 paid clients per category), and the published rate within a tier rises 10% from the previous tier.
- Business categories start at £365 per year for Tier 01 (clients 1–10).
- Professional categories start at £50 per year for Tier 01 (clients 1–10).
- Pricing increases by 10% after every 10 new paid registrations in that category (i.e. each new tier).
- Each new registrant joins at the current published rate for that category at the time of payment or renewal.
No refund or price adjustment will be provided because a previous or future business or professional paid a different category rate.
5. Payment & Renewals
Subscriptions are charged on the published billing basis, typically annually unless otherwise stated. By subscribing, you authorise Storified to collect the applicable fees for the profile or service selected.
If your subscription renews and payment is successfully collected, the renewed term will begin in accordance with the subscription plan. Renewals remain subject to the published pricing and policy framework in force at the time of renewal unless Storified has expressly stated otherwise.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy. As a general rule, subscriptions become non-refundable once onboarding, profile setup, verification-related review, publication, formatting work, or related service work has started.
7. User Content & Originality
When a business or professional creates a profile or submits any information, content, text, images, media, profile details, logos, reviews, links, claims, or brand assets to Storified, that business or professional confirms and warrants that:
- the submitted information is accurate, lawful, and original or properly authorised for use;
- the content is not false, manipulated, misleading, misrepresented, or unlawfully edited;
- the business or professional has the necessary rights, licences, permissions, and authority to provide the submitted material;
- the content does not infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, contractual rights, or any other third-party rights.
If Storified determines that submitted information or content is false, manipulated, unlawfully edited, misleading, unauthorised, or otherwise in breach of these Terms, Storified may cancel the subscription, suspend or remove the profile, and refuse any refund.
8. Embedded Media & Third-Party Content
Storified may display embedded content from third-party platforms and services, including but not limited to Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Google, Trustpilot, and similar providers.
- Embedded players, videos, reviews, widgets, and similar features are supplied by or sourced from those third-party platforms.
- Storified is displaying that content as provided through the relevant embed, widget, or integration and is not representing that it owns the underlying third-party content.
- Storified is not selling reviews and does not claim ownership of third-party reviews displayed through Google, Trustpilot, or other review services.
- Storified is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, functionality, removal, or policy changes of third-party platforms or third-party embeds.
- Use of third-party embeds may also be subject to the terms, policies, and technical limits of those third-party services.
Storified may remove or disable embedded content where required for legal, technical, policy, reputational, or operational reasons.
9. Reviews & Third-Party Review Display
Storified may showcase reviews originating from third-party review platforms such as Google or Trustpilot through embeds, widgets, or other approved display methods. Storified is not selling reviews, creating reviews on behalf of businesses, or guaranteeing the presence, quality, tone, or permanence of any third-party review content.
The relevant business remains responsible for ensuring that any review-related claims it makes are accurate and lawful.
10. Charity Allocation
Where Storified states that a percentage of qualifying profile payments supports charity, that allocation is a Storified business commitment and not a separate payment collected on behalf of the registering business or professional unless expressly stated otherwise.
Storified does not state that it is taking money from charities. Where Storified supports charities, the purpose is to help charitable causes thrive in accordance with the published Charity Policy.
Where applicable, charity allocations may apply again on successful renewals in line with the published Charity Policy.
11. Affiliate Programme
Affiliate arrangements are governed by the separate Affiliate Terms. Unless otherwise stated in writing, affiliates earn commission only on qualifying base profile fees and not on add-ons, extras, upgrades, or custom work. Commission may also apply again on qualifying renewals where the referred business or professional renews and pays successfully, subject to the Affiliate Terms.
12. No Sale of Reviews or Third-Party Platform Rights
Storified does not sell Google reviews, Trustpilot reviews, Spotify plays, SoundCloud plays, YouTube views, or similar third-party platform metrics. Storified provides a profile and display service that may include embedded or integrated presentation of third-party content where permitted.
13. Suspension & Removal Rights
Storified may suspend, restrict, edit, refuse, delist, or remove any account, listing, profile, submission, embed, media item, or service access where Storified believes there has been:
- a breach of these Terms or any related policy;
- false, manipulated, or unauthorised information;
- unlawful content or conduct;
- non-payment, chargeback, fraud risk, or abuse;
- misuse of the platform, affiliate system, review display system, or embedded media features;
- any action that may expose Storified to legal, regulatory, technical, or reputational risk.
Where removal results from the registrant’s own breach, misconduct, false information, manipulation, or unauthorised content, Storified may refuse a refund.
14. Intellectual Property
All Storified branding, website design, platform structure, text created by Storified, layout, styling, and proprietary platform materials remain the property of Storified or its licensors. Any third-party names, logos, marks, players, videos, reviews, or widgets remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storified will not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, reputational harm, third-party platform outages, removed embeds, missing reviews, or service interruptions arising from third-party systems, integrations, or content providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
16. Privacy & Data Protection
Storified processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Privacy information should be read together with these Terms.
17. Consumer & Business Status
Storified’s services are mainly intended for businesses and professionals. Where a purchaser qualifies as a consumer under applicable law, mandatory consumer protections will apply to the extent required by law. Otherwise, the arrangement is treated on a business basis.
18. Changes to Services, Prices, or Terms
Storified may update services, platform features, pricing structures, category rules, affiliate rules, charity policies, and these Terms from time to time. The latest version published on the website will apply to new purchases from the date of publication.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another mandatory legal framework applies.
